Super-short one this time!  In which the angst factor increases. I pulled out all the stops on this one, I really did.

Roxanne is stupid and I want to poke her in the eye and tell her to not be stupid.  This Roxanne and Megamind are not half as communicative as Cold Fusion Roxanne and Megamind.

Good stuff. True to the characters. And, actually, I think her "stupidity" is understandable. I mean, he did almost kill her, even though he also saved her. Simple self-preservation is a reasonable consideration.

He did, but a lot of it doesn't have much to do with him being dangerous. A lot of it is just that Megamind as a supervillain isn't a viable relationship choice and Roxanne is worried that she's falling in love with him. Which is also valid! But at this point if there was some real talking I think the fact that they're both sick of it might come out.

This is a fascinating twist and I can feel his heartbreak over the idea of loosing the only person who he ever hoped could really love him. Still he respects her enough to go along with her wishes even though you can just see the cycles of self-blame going on. Poor lil thing. I want to just five him a hug.

"Cycles of self-blame" is a really excellent way to phrase it, and I might end up borrowing that in the future (if I may?).

He would be really grateful for a Dani hug right about now. You give good hugs.
