I find that I am more content at work when I am busy with a well defined task with a clear deadline. It's the futuristic fuzzy tasks with no real time constraints that cause me to have anxiety. Also, I like troubleshooting and responding to programmatic events more than design. Designs are hard because I tend to be a perfectionist and find it hard to set reasonable limits to the level of detail and interaction with other systems.

Swimming in the sea of technology is a never-ending exercise, and it is easy to get fatigued.
