im in computer lit right now, and everyone is supposed to work on their powerpoint presentations (i thought i already did this in my sophomore year of highscool). That means i get an extra 50 minutes in my day to internet. As i look around the classroom at the other moniters, i see people using those dress up flash games, youtube videos, facebook and other random websites. Definitely no powerpoint programs running right now.
This school year has been fairly easy and im doing well in all of my classes. Logic is my least favorite class although it's kind of interesting. The instructor at Willow, Mr. Stannard should not be teaching it though. His lectures are known to be very dry and monotonous, so take a dry and monotonous class like logic and combine it with him and you got me thinking about chocolate labs for about an hour. It doesnt help that i have friends in that class either.
History 11 (pre reconstruction) is the most interesting class i have. i think we have about 5 or 6 weeks left and every lecture so far has been so interesting. I recommend taking the class with Allen Carden. He's actually gotten a few books published on some of the stuff he teaches.
I really hate going to city. I honestly feel like im in a charter school sometimes with all the booty chasers that hang out here. I've heard from a few people that those guys don't even have any classes. The other day one of them started talking shit to me and at first i wanted so badly to slap the shutter shades off of his stupid face, but then after glaring at him for a few seconds I realized he was talking shit to everyone who was walking by. It was like he was freestyle shit talking. i guess it was kind of funny, but totally not appropriate for a college campus. I wanted to tell him to go back to fresno high, but then id probably get jumped by his big gangster friends. But maybe getting kicked out is what it would take to keep those chauvinistic assholes from hanging out at the school.
Its been twenty minutes since i started this entry, and the teacher has barely been in the class at all. He spends about half the class outside of the classroom. I'm so curious as to where he goes for all that time. Facebook class is the best part of my school day.
