(no subject)
I've just deleted and retyped this entry for the third time now. I'm having trouble phrasing what I want to say. Well, here 'goes...
As most of you know, band camp started Monday. I didn't really know what to expect at first, but the outlook is becoming sunnier as time goes on. I'm really happy with the show itself and the drill isn't too bad, either. We even finished up the first song by Thursday afternoon (which is VERY impressive.) I really think it's due to the incoming freshmen this year. They're really a great bunch of kids. Ah, the trip to McDonald's...that was interesting. Sorry about swerving back and forth; Vince told me you guys bumped your heads. Oh yeah, and everybody had to work the Blue Rocks game Thursday night. Surprisingly, I actually had a good time. It wasn't too busy, I talked to Mariah the whole night (who's actually a really cool chick,) and just fooled around with my fellow band-o's. All next week, camp doesn't start until 1pm. How cool is that, eh? I can actually have lunch with Brittany and Liz now. I haven't seen them in forever. (Not including Thursday night where they showed up at my house with kittens... Long story.) Sarah's coming back soon, too! I can't exactly remember when...but I know it's soon lol. Went to the beach Friday with my mom and bro; I had fun, but my brother's a total square. He didn't want to get in the water 'cause it was too cold and the waves were too big. Gimme a break! I had a great time by myself on my boogey board. Man, some people just don't know how to have fun.
