1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
In chronological order:
- Figured out exercise doesn't suck; lost 25 pounds.
- Got officially hired and bid my interning days adieu.
- Got dumped from first long term relationship.
- Bought a car.
- Went to Vegas.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Affirmative. I am a new, shiny healthy me! This year's goal is to start weight training. And by "start," I mean "start, and then keep doing." 'Cause I've started before, but without the follow through.
Oh, also... be more financially responsible and put 10% of my cashola into the 401(k) and IRA.

Not close-close. A guy in the office, though. (His wife, rather.)

No. So that's good.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A birthday party! I'm still considering venues, but mark your calendars. March 9 is a Friday this year. It is on.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'm not all that good at remembering specific dates. The summer was an eventful time, though.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a job, dur. Followed closely by getting fit.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I haven't been as good a friend to some people as I'd like to be.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I guess there was that bladder infection incident.

My car, OBVIOUSLY. The Independent WomanMobile.

My brother has made some big strides this year, and not just in oral health.

Rent. The car. A significant amount on eating and drinking out, but I allow myself that because last year my income was $12,000. I AM DUE.

The elliptical trainer. And boys.

Went to Sioux Falls. Got drunk in front of family and had a laughing attack when Grandma unwrapped heinous, handmade-by-distant-aunt sweater.

No, but I fell in short-lived infatuation, which is almost as exciting.

This is corny, but my office friends have started watching Grey's Anatomy together and it's shamefully fun.

I turned 24, got free lunch at pre-opening dry run of a client's new restaurant, celebrated with office at extended happy hour, and wrapped up at the PRSA awards banquet. A pretty good day!
