[Someone just got done having a boxing match with his turkey... it may have climbed onto his back a few times and beat him over the head with it's knobby wings.]

This is bad day, I just hope sandvich does not fight next!

If a sandwich were to attack you from the inside, it would cause more damage than it would on the outside. Attacking the outside would only prove to make a mess, while, internally, it would cause damage to the intestinal lining among other things.

I have a suggestion then.

Kill the bird and place it in the sandwich. Is that not the best solution?
