Wink Up [April 2015] Mr. Gentleman - Okamoto Keito

May 12, 2015 00:40

In this article Keito shows what a really fine adult he is and we'll get to know who is it that he admires and thinks that is a matured person :3

"What an adult" or "What a brat" - which one do you get told a lot?
When I talk to my superiors, I always tell myself to behave properly like them, so I get told "What and adult you are" a lot, but when I'm with my peers, I let my guard down and then I get more childish.

Please tell us about your recent adult-like conduct with a self-satisfied look
Today, before I went to the studio, I cooked a meal and did the laundry! A kid wouldn't be able to do this, right?

The moment when you felt that you've become an adult
When I talk with someone, it is the moment when I understand what's in their mind. Like "Ah, this person might look confident but in fact, he is timid on the inside?" It would be interesting to study psychology or such.

Part of yourself that hasn't grown up yet
The part of me that chooses a goal but still doesn't make any progress in it at all. It's nice to hear things such as "I'm living in the present" but I'm actually still a kid and naive. So I would like to think through things more and become able to foresee things a little bit.

The most childish thing in your room
I don't really want to say this but... it's a body pillow. I wouldn't be able to sleep without that. (laughs) Huh, are you saying that Yama-chan has stuffed toys in his room? That's too cute! Now I feel really embarrassed after saying that I feel reluctant about mentioning a body pillow. (laughs)

What age was the "rebellious age" for you?
I haven't been really rebellious, have I. Rather than I don't want to get angry, I don't want to be hated. And then, since I was small, parents have always said to me "Don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you" Moreover, in school in England, and when I came back and became a member of JUMP, I didn't have time to be rebellious. (laughs)

What did you find delicious after becoming an adult?
Onions! I used to hate onions and I absolutely would not eat one, but now I love them. When I went to visit my grandmom after a long while, the onion slices I ate were really delicious and ever since then, I was okay with onions. And then, I used to be one of those who prefer sweet curry only, but recently I started to like spicy curry.

The junior of whom you think "What an adult he is!"
He became my senior though... Yama-chan is younger than me but he's really a conscientious person. I think it's amazing how he always thinks about the group first, even when there's something he wants to do. I often think that I should follow his example. When I talk with Yama-chan, I also get motivated and receive encouragement.

Thank you for reading!
