I'm beginning to feel as if the seams of the universe are splitting apart. If my father can disappear forever, my grandparents... can't anyone at any time just cease to exist? Yes. I could suddenly cease to exist. My daughter. Everyone I know. The world itself.

I've always lived with this intellectual knowledge. This is something else. I don't like this.

I honestly don't know what is left to hold onto in this world. Maybe nothing.
