The Dentist and the DMV in one day, oh cruel punishment

At least neither visit was for me, but running my dad on three hours worth of errands is never usually an agreeable task. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad, but like a typical man, he needs to complain about everything. The dentist went smoothly, at least I thought so, and the DMV never fails to group together the most interesting people known to man. If I were ever to write a Twilight Zone like play where a bunch of strangers get trapped together, it would be set in the DMV. As we were finally making our way out, I was wondering if there would be anyone in the room full of people that would get the non-automatic door for myself and my wheelchair bound father. It took them to last second, as I was reaching for the door, but one nice woman finally offered to hold it open for us.

Got home about 2:30pm and Harry and I are meeting Mom at the park later today once she's off work, so I decided to just chill. I did make my iced coffee, but I haven't written any novel today. I may have, erm, been stabbed with a pokey stick by angeweeks and plotted out an entire Sam and Ray buddy cop fic. So, it looks like it will be written. The only question that remains is whether I'll post parts as they're written, as I typically do, or if I'll write out the whole thing, or at least half of it, before I start posting. Since the job situation is up in the air, I'd hate to be caught in the middle of a long-fic then suddenly not have time to write a new part.

Haven't heard back from any jobs yet. Still hoping on the Bollywood film, but who knows how many applications they're getting and how many positions they need to fill. I think I have pretty good qualifications, but so do a hundred other PA's in the Philly area. Ah, the waiting game.

And here are some cute pictures of Harry. He was inspired by Project Runway last night and decided to wear my crew sweatshirt:

That's his tail on the left and his nose poking out on the right and my mom in her McNabb Eagles jersey in the background.

dogs are awesome, fic, we're going on a job hunt, writing
