Dakota Shine also available as Cat Paint Revive (Caterpillar Inc.) saves money over a $3,000 paint job.

Lift & Access Review

From Dakota Shine's website: "Dakota Shine is a unique and patented product that will restore the color, lustre and value to faded and oxidized surfaces like paint, decals, plastics and more." The inventor, Lynn Odland, calls it a pigmentless paint.

Engineering News-Record  reported that the two-step process takes about 3 hours. Users apply with a scouring pad the biodegradable concentrate which costs about $71 per gallon. Dakota Shine at $125 per gallon is then sprayed on with a pneumatic paint gun. Because it goes on clear, overspray is not an issue.
