I'm quite pleased with my class schedule for this Fall, yes-siree I am.
It was quite the pain-in-the-butt...I stood a full 4 hours from 9:30 to
1:45pm in the registration line in the sweltering heat. The good thing?
I met someuber-awesome people!
1. The woman I want to be like when I'm older. Funny thing is she
looked exactly like Dana but thinner and older, red-haired and
freckled, green-eyed and everything! Maybe it's the Scottish descent.
Anyhow, she has a photographer for a husband and was able to give me a
gazillion tips, recommended books and publications, and a dozen reasons
to stick with photography. She herself is an artist and was there
studying up to be a teacher because she also liked being with kids.
2. Debbie who said "Monkey See, Monkey Do. And someone's gotta do." A
bossy, get-my-way kinda woman, she ordered the campus police around to
do her bidding. ^^ She has been a police officer, a lawyer, a judge --
and now at the age of 63, she's training to be a...uh...I can't
remember exactly. A government worker of some sort. She also got us
lunch....but climbing a fence and picking us apples from the trees on
campus, and telling off the security guards who told her she couldn't.
3. I forget her name, a blonde haired woman, friend of Debbie's who
helped me pick out good professors. She'd worked in the school for a
couple of decades and was there to register her son, so she knew what
the profs. were like.
4. The woman's son, David, who was studying to be a 4th Grade
teacher....for no other reason than he himself had an awesome 4th grade
teacher,
Ok, on to the uber-ness of my schedule.
