Bad news, good news
The winter coat I bought (mail order) for Gudrun for her birthday doesn't fit her. It's a great coat, just an inch or so too small (and they don't make it any larger, grrr). As we were grousing over the missing inch, she said "y'know, it might fit Karen". . . So last night Karen tried it on, and it both fits and looks really nice on her. So I don't get to return it.
And Gudrun found another coat by a different manufacturer that comes in a larger size. I hope it arrives before spring, because, y'know, running around in the coldest winter in years without an adequate coat is a Bad Idea.
