Speed + Semi Trucks = Bad
Hahahaha. If I don't laugh about it, I'll cry.
First off, I'm fine. But...I got hit by a semi truck. It's not as bad as it sounds. This is what happened:
At a stop light, almost stopped. Semi couldn't stop in time. Decided, apparently, that he would swerve into my lane to avoid her (I don't even think he saw me). I saw him coming out of the corner of my eye and hit the gas to get out of the way. Places of impact are denoted by an "X." His lug nuts dug into the back driver side door and the frame and the damage to my car is over $3,000. Sigh. At least I won't have to pay for it.
