running over the same old ground. what have you found?
It's 11pm and there are two jackhammers going 15 feet outside our room. The one and only time that they decide to do road construction at night....on via Ponte Tresa and via Paradiso. At the same time.
Anyway. I've been back in Switzerland about a week now, and it feels good to be back. It's about the same as always- the internet sucks, the maintenance staff is way behind so our room isn't actually ready to be lived in, the weather is totally unpredictable, the Falcon's Nest is freezing, and the leaf blowers still go in the morning. But training for the orientation leaders is going well and the RA's are actually decent people this year, so they're fun to work with. I have to admit that I had my doubts about this OL group, but I think it's going to be pretty good. So the new students get here on Thursday, and then we have a crazy 6 days of orientation and then classes start.
