First and foremost, I have to mention that my thoughts are with sweetypiedi. I don't know what I'd be doing in a similar situation, but i'm sure I wouldn't be coping all together well. She is a stronger cookie than I, and I hope that she never feels like she is alone.

As for me... well, my new found liberation from academia has been rather relaxing. Went shopping for some presents today.. found stuff. Obviously, I want it all for me!
