Okay, I picked a few brains for cooking ideas over the weekend. So when I went shopping for groceries today, I decided to be a little more adventurous. I purchased several items that I never bought before, lentils, snow peas, spinach, eggplant, and feta cheese. I also bought a few things that I do like cooking with: cilantro, lime, lemon, and chilies de arbol. Tomorrow, I’m going to stop by the carnicería to purchase some pre-seasoned taco meat. Last year, I learned to make ají salsa from my friend Maria, I need make some again. I also bumped into Karen from work; she is going to give me a couple recipes as well. She has a recipe for tabouli that I’m interested in. Well, I’m off to the kitchen.
