This may be old news to some of you, but I really think this is bullshit.
1. Why where there officers at the podium?
2. Why did the officer try to take the mic from the student before he finished his question?
3. Why was he arrested?
4. If there was no reason to arrest him, should he have the right to resist?
5. Wasn't there enough officers on hand to detain him with escalating the the use of violence with a taser? I thought officers were supposed to defuse situations.
6. Why did an officer tell a bystanding student to shut up? She was screaming because she was watching one of her classmates get dog-piled and tased. I think that is a normal reaction.
7. Why didn't Kerry get off of his podium and stop that nonsense?
Sure the guy was obnoxious, but the police presence never allowed him to clearly ask his question. Yes, he did ask a series of question, but I believe they were rhetorical. He was probably building up to one final question.
This is what I think the student was trying to do.
1. Establish the fact that Kerry conceded to quickly to Bush.
2. Raise a doubt as to why Kerry has not called for Bush's impeachment.
3. Establish that Bush and Kerry are both members of the secret organization called Skulls & Bones.
Using a little conspiracy theory logic, the student was probably trying to claim that Kerry was always meant to be the 2004 fallguy for Bush. Y'know since they are both boners.
