August 17--18, 2008 [sunday--monday]
1. sunday just stayed home and watched olympics all day long, except in the afternoon we went to see that loft on lincoln about the deck because last time we didn't get to see it. this time the loft showed better, but still, it misses windows and it feels pretty dark at times.
2. finally picked a paper to present for wednesday class. it's about using fusion cells between dendritic cells and breast carcinoma cells to act as an apc to stimulate t cell response to kill tumors. i didn't read the whole paper, but it seems ok, will need to work on the background and stuff some time tomorrow.
3. the dna from spore project 3 seemed to be really good after measuring using nanodrop, need to do a pcr to know the quality though. but it's a good news anyways...
4. ran home from museum campus, this time i felt a little bit tired, but i did ok.
5. sheila baked cookies for jim and she gave everybody else in the lab a cookie as well. i resisted all day long finally gave in before i left the lab and it was delicious! :P
6. finally ordered a new phone, a razor, hopefully it will come before the end of the week. :)
