Superficial Things
So I was listening to the fly morning rush thismorning getting ready for work, and they did this segment called "Superficial Things I am Thankful For". The point of the segment was this: during the time of Thanksgiving, people often ponder over what they are thankful for. Particularly during these hard times, people focus on the important things, like friends, family, health, job, etc. This is all well and good, but it can make you forget the little things that bring joy to your life daily.
So, with all due respect to friends, family, and all of that warm-fuzzy stuff, what are some superficial things that you are thankful for?
Here are some of mine:
Iced coffee from The Daily Grind. Especially Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Peanutbutter.
Planet Fitness having later hours than most other gyms.
Haircare products, especially mousse
FiberOne Bars and yogurt.
My car. Because she isn't just any car. She is pretty and red and good on gas and I feel is a pretty good reflection of my personality.
My Ipod
My Kenneth Cole Black Wedges. They are sexy and stylish and very comfortable.
Mint Mentos
Punditkitchen
Pencils
My laptop
Trips to NYC
My nettipot
Crisan, the bakery/gellato place on Lark St
Tofu fries and tofu bowls from Bombers
My sewing machine
