Merry Christmas
Hello Everyone:
I thought I would update this journal while I have a few minutes between all the hours of Holiday cheer.
We went skiing a couple of weekends ago in Telluride and started Christmas with a hot tub party on Saturday night. We had fresh snow every day and the skiing was wonderful. We are going again in January but this time in Arizona. We will be staying at a Casino and skiing during the day and maybe playing a bit at night. :-).
Christmas is almost upon us and the excitement level here is rising. I picked up the brandy filled chocolates today and hubby is picking up ingredients for the fondue. We always go to Midnight Mass and afterwards we come home to a few special treats and open our presents in front of the fire. I guess we combine both the spiritual and the physical on Christmas.
Even though the family is back in Indiana, we have our own celebration which is very special to our house and of course we will call everyone on Christmas day.
With the baking, Christmas music playing in the background, and the twinkling of the lights on the tree, I feel overwhelmed with joy and I wish that joy to everyone everyday of the year.
In keeping with that spirit I wish to say Merry Christmas to all and "God Bless Us Everyone".
