Well, it's official!
I am now thirty years old.
If I can be serious for a few minutes, it's going well so far. :P
I had a really great weekend. Ken and I went out to dinner last night with a bunch of our friends and I ate way too much. I don't regret it, though. We had a blast.
Afterwards, we had planned on going to Sal's house to play board games (nerds) and eat lots of crappy snacks.
My car, however, had other ideas.
It refused to start after we left 7-11 and after pushing it to the gas station, calling my mom to drive my friends home and sitting in the car with the doors open and the rain falling in, AAA came and towed it back to my house. Sal stayed with us the whole time. He's such a good friend and I am really blessed to have gotten close to him.
Anyway, it turns out I needed a new fuel pump (which I got fixed today). It could have been really horrible, but for some reason the whole event was pretty damn funny.
Today we went to my mom's house and Barbara came over. We watched Big Brother (which mom taped for me last night) and we ordered pizza and played lame board games and it was wonderful.
I specifically told my mother I didn't want a cake or any of that frou-frou decoration crap and she made sure there wasn't any of that around. <3
I got flowers from mom, Ken, and Joe and I am so spoiled that it's not even funny.
My mother-in-law called yesterday and asked me if I am pregnant yet. Too funny. I was cracking up, telling her we're trying our hardest. :P
Then my father-in-law called me today (they're divorced) and I swear to God, his accent is so freaking cute that I almost swooned.
They're wonderful.

OHHH! I also got your card, Shilo. It was such a sweet surprise and it made me smile so big. Thank you!!! Ken came in with it when he got the mail and said, "Look! Shilo sent you a card!" The ladybug stickers almost made me cry because I am a huge sap. I can't believe how sweet you are. <33333
