Expectations seem to loom around us. We all have expectations for what we plan to accomplish in the day, expectations for our friendships and expectations for our lovers. But when do expectations get caught up? When do these expectations and rules of dating stop being inherently known and start to be thrown out the window. This phenomenon leaves me struggling to understand how men expect me to except the "I didnt know I was doing wrong" explanation for their actions. How could you not know? When did normal basic human decency turn into a forgotten myth?
