i'm not telling you it is going to be easy, i'm telling you it's going to be worth it

I have officially completed my 5 year academic career. I am no longer a student and have been thrust into the real world. It feels weird. I don't think it has fully sunken in yet, that come September I won't be back at school. Odd!

That being said, I have been pondering as to where this will lead me. I plan on applying to centres here in Toronto and if that doesn't pan out, spread out my search to other areas. I am excited to be starting this chapter in my life. It's been a long time coming and even though it's been a struggle, I am so happy that I pushed on through. The truth of the matter is, I love working with children and although it will be a difficult job, it will be so worth while and I will definitely be making a difference.

I also have more time to focus on myself and enriching my life in other areas other then academically. I am pumped to try new things, to complete things that I have started and have put on the back burner and to just grow. I am excited to be able to do things and not feel guilty about doing them, because I should be focusing on something school related.

Things that I am planning:

1. Applying for jobs (and keeping a positive swing on doing so)
2. Boot camp. Starts at the beginning of May and will be a nice kick start to getting healthy
3. Baking goodies from the Babycakes cook book
4. Yoga
5. Reading
6. Exploring new areas of Toronto so I can fall in love with it again
