I'm pretty proud of a good chunk of America right now. I have faith in Obama and I am so happy to have that feeling. The faith that I have in him combined with the happiness I have for finally having faith in a president again has periodically made me stop what I'm doing and cry for a second. Personally, even though I voted for hime, I think Obama has his work cut out for him and I worry that he might not live up to the hype because people right now are placing him on a pedestal right now. But then my co-worker made a really good point to me the other day: Approximately 70% of the people in this country have HOPE. So even if Obama eventually disappoints, hope is a terribly valuable and rare thing so for now I shall not complain.
