well, well, well.
now that my exams are over and the christmas shopping done, i guess i should be getting my life back on track- earlier nights, good wholesome foodstuffs and cleaning the apartment with a martha-like fervour, but no.
i am up, tick-tacking away on the internet about the whatnot. for shame, helen androlia!
today denise and i headed out into the wilds of don mills and eglinton road to go to the
bodyworlds 2 exhibit at the ontario science centre. personally, i don't see why everyone is so up in arms about the nature of this exhibit- whether it is morally sound and the like. if people choose to donate themselves to be plastinated, well, that's their business. it was fascinating, honest- one of those things that you really have to go and see for yourself to grasp the real spectrum of what the exhibit entails. i mean it- go, don't pussy out. it's a thing that will amaze you, and stick with you forever.
no, i didn't take photos. i mean, i had my camera, but you weren't allowed. that's that.
however, here is denise in the science arcade, apparently walking through a ladder! blowing my mind!
then we went to mastermind, bought wind-up caterpillars, and eventually met up with sarina for supper at
fresh. we were supposed to go elsewhere, but it seems that monday night is toronto's official staff christmas party night.
the caterpillar waits for sarina at bathurst station.
the evening ended with a delightful stopoff at sonic boom and me spening $16 i did not need to spend on a copy of thee silver mt. zion's memorial orchestra and tra-la-la band's horses in the sky. (in case you were all ????, they are godspeed! you black emperor's side project)
ah, what do i care? i am young, the spectres of debt have yet to chase me down at my heels, and dammit. it's a good album.
today, in short, was a good stick to measure your awesome up against.
