Gardening Mishaps
So, I like peppers. I like growing them and eating them and cooking with them. Thus, when planting my garden plot in my community garden, I planted 18 pepper plants, all different varieties. What's more, I have been delighted to get many, mny peppers from said plants, even though usually growing peppers can be difficult around here.
One of my most successful varieties was somethign called "Italian Sweet Roaster".
As I just discovered when I tried to cut them up and cook them in a chicken cattitore, these peppers, despite their name, ARE NOT SWEET.
Five minutes in, both me and my sister were sniffling and coughing. Ten minutes in, I put the whole mess down the drain.
What's more, my cheek is actually BURNED from where I touched it after scopping out the seeds. A long, horizontal burn that is bright red.
Oy.
