As he wandered, however, he noticed the cafe nearby, and debated stopping to make an entry. He could use a bit of conversation at the moment, but he was so close to the restaurant... Hm... A small diversion couldn't hurt.
The demon opened the door and stepped in, beginning to look around for a computer. Instead, he found a girl. "Oh! Forgive moi for barging in as I did. How crude of me!" He hoped she didn't live here. Surely there were other places that were open, yes? There was no need for a young lady to sleep in a restaurant...

Immediately putting on the waterworks, she ran to him. "I was afraid I'd be here for weeks!" she cried. "Everyone said to stay put... but no one would come get me..." She turned her large, purple, doe-like eyes up on the stranger, her lower lip quivering.

"Ah, lovely Mademoiselle, there is no need for tears! Where is it that you need to go? The Dark Adonis shall lead you wherever it is you desire," he said to her with the usual extravagance.

Her tears now evaporating, Nanami hiccupped as he spoke. "D-dark Adonis?" she repeated quietly. For some reason he reminded her of the Chairman... "I... I don't know. I just arrived here and I have no clue what's going on."
Reply
"You mentioned that you had been on the journals earlier, yes? What have you learned from them so far?"
Reply
"Oh! Er.. yes. I haven't had the chance to do much else... But some girl told me there were monsters out there? I really didn't believe her... It's kind of absurd," she scoffed, tucking a lock of hair behind her ears. "Isn't it?" she added, this time unsure of herself. After all, if there were demons here... then monsters would be possible too, wouldn't they?

"The smaller creatures drop from a larger one. It normally keeps to Central Park in the north or the waters surrounding this island, but its passes through the city can prove to be quite... damaging, as you may have seen. I would not recommend fighting it any time soon," he continued.

"So the tinier ones are.. spawned from the larger one?" she repeated before glancing out the window. So a monster was the cause of this devastation... He didn't look like he was joking about it either. "And no one knows why we're here? Or even how we got here?"
She anxiously tugged on her cuffs, at a loss for what to do. This was all just hopeless. "Without onii-sama... I just don't know what to do," she muttered, more to herself than anything. But Touga wasn't there... and there were monsters about. She needed to make nice and figure things out. She glanced back at the demon with a heavy sigh. "I'm Nanami Kiryuu."

"I am not entirely sure how the little ones come to be," he admitted, waving a hand airily. He wasn't sure he wanted to know, either. "If someone knows, they are keeping it a secret, though I should hope that isn't the case! In any case, there are some people investigating the matter even as we speak. Should anyone find something out, the populace would be notified in an instant. Mm?"
It seemed as though his reassurances were needed after all, if he had heard correctly.

She sat down and placed her head in her hands, fingers running through her hair. Another moment passed before glanced up at him again. "How can you place so much trust in complete strangers? You don't know them... How do you know they won't turn around and stab you in the back the first chance they get?"

Well, it seemed as though it might be a little while longer before they were to leave, so Vyers took a seat himself, waiting for the girl's response.

He nodded in greeting before he looked at Nanami. "You're Miss Nanami right?"

Her purple eyes slid over as another person joined them. That must've been the boy who she was speaking with over the network. "That's correct," she said gently. "You're Allen-kun?"
Reply
"Young sir! I did not think I would be seeing you again so soon. What a pleasant surprise!" he exclaimed, standing. The young lady must have put up a notice and Allen had responded.
"Ah, I do hope that I am not intruding..."

Allen shook his head slightly as he pushes his bangs out of his eyes. "No, you're not intruding at all, sir. Would you...come with me to help Miss Kiryuu find lodgings?" Two armed people was better than one, besides he wanted to have another chance to talk with Vyers more. He looked at Nanami then. "Would that be alright with you?"
Reply
She'd begun to space out when the demon apologzied for intruding and the boy offered to let him come along. She glanced over at Allen and blinked. "Would it--? Oh, of course it would be alright."
She shrugged her shoulders. "If those monsters are as horrible as everyone says they are.. I suppose the larger the group of us, the better off we are." She turned her gaze downward, onto the rose crest ringht she wore on her left ring finger. Where would she find a sword at here/?
