Who: Kida, Miwako and Giselle
Content: After rummaging shopping for supplies Kida is bitten.
Location: Um, about 30 minutes walk from where they stay?
Time of day: Sunset
Warnings: CRABS! Oh, and Giselle worrying about Wolf.
A warm breeze blew a few strands of Kida's white hair over her face. She brushed it away and squinted in the late evening sun before they entered the long, dark shadow of a building blanketing the street.
Kida listened carefully to Giselle as she began to talk about Wolf. Love was never easy, and she found herself thinking of Milo and how she missed him.
There was a gentle rhythm as Kida walked between the soft padding of her bare feet and the tap of the end of her new spear. Though still much cruder than she'd like, a large kitchen knife was a great improvement over the shard of glass, and the new pole had enough flex in it to pole vault if need be, though she knew she'd probably break the knife in the process. Kida looked forward to making a real spear, however.
She let her fingers brush against the contents of the bag she carried, feeling the leather and packages of wire and beads she'd chosen from the craft shop they just raided. The leather would make wonderful grips for weapons.
