"I'm fine," he answered, almost automatic, as he pushed himself to his feet. Also automatic, he reached up to adjust his eyepatch, ensuring that it was properly settled over his right eye; an action that was starting to become a common nervous habit of his. He felt a little unsteady, maybe, but it still just felt like waking up after losing a lot of blood. Nothing he couldn't handle.

Where were they? He took a better look around, taking stock of the situation. It was him, Pixie, Wolf, and some other guy he was unfamiliar with, in a window-less steel room. He didn't remember getting here, and he'd never seen anyplace like this before - had they been taken by the overseers?

Wait - that meant -

That meant Garnet was still alive, didn't it? In a room like this? He could hope. He had cause to, now.

And if Garnet was still alive, that meant saving her.

First order of business, figure out how the hell to do that. He walked over to the door and checked to see if it would open. Predictably no, but it had been worth a try. He turned to the others, leaning back against the door. "We need to find a way out of here."

"Not a problem, I'm not so out of it I can't just... get us somewhere else," Maybe he wasn't feeling so good, did he forget she helped teleport a boat. This wasn't as much as a boat. "I-I can feel my dagger, I'd kind of like to get it... and hopefully Roxas." The bit about Roxas was quieter.

She tried to make herself a little smaller, given she wasn't actually used to going around captured on ships wearing shorts and a light tank top. Well, the lack of her armor made her suspect they were all disarmed before being locked up.

"Should we wake up Mr. Wolf and Xemnas..?" She wasn't exactly sure waking Xemnas up was a good idea. However the guy was good in a fight. Also he did say he'd fight on the same side at least for now and not beat her up again.

"...Yeah. Yeah, we should." They needed to pool their resources here and figure out what to do.

He pushed himself away from the door to walk over to Wolf's cot. He knew the guy, sort of. Waking him up wasn't too uncomfortable, even if he was pretty shady. "Hey, Wolf, wake up." Short and simple; he kicked the cot when he said it, though, staying well out of Wolf's estimated jump-up-and-maul-out-of-sheer-instinct range as he did so (he had one of those himself; main reason he went for kicking the cot instead of shaking Wolf awake).

He didn't know the other guy, so he left that to Pixie. Once they had everyone awake and fairly coherent, they could figure out what to do.

Interestingly, in sleep Xemnas didn't seem to be nearly the threat he was awake; the aura of power and control dimming down to something... tolerable. Something somewhat less than the man who had the strength of will to retain human form even after death and hold together a group of men and women just as heartless as he was.

However, it would not be necessary to wake him up. He was already working on clawing his way out of the depths of sleep. He had no time for such things, and he was not one to simply give in to the whims of those who had captured them. Not for this.

The shift between waking and sleeping was a sudden one; between one moment and the next, his eyes snapped open as he shifted to a sitting position. He'd never been one to bother with the nonsense of early morning sleepiness, and to be quite honest he didn't exactly need the same amount of sleep as someone who was fully human.

"I see they have made good on their word," he commented, glancing at the walls of the cell.

Wolf was not a heavy sleeper in the slightest. And Raiel was right to stand out of the way when he kicked his cot, because the half-wolf jumped up like a shot, snarling and growling at nothing in particular. It didn't take long for him to crumple back down to the floor in pain, whining and grasping at the injection site on his arm. This feeling was familiar...it was the crab virus.

"Awwwwr-AWROOOOOO!" Wolf howled, stumbling back to his feet and ignoring the calmer residents of his cell. If there was one way to get a wolf angry and paranoid, it was to stick him in a cage. And he was very angry and paranoid now. "HAARRR, GISELLE! Where is she?! GISELLE!"

He would need someone to talk him down and get him invested in an escape plan, since he was too distraught and frantic to think of anything himself.

Wolf's reaction wasn't all that surprising, actually. He knew the guy was married, so it made sense for him to panic about his wife. Raiel was prepared to handle that.

He grabbed Wolf by the shoulders and gave him a hard shake. "HEY! Snap out of it, Wolf! We're going to find her, but we can't do that unless you calm down and work with us, okay?!"

Megan shook her head at Raiel's less than gentle approach. Sure, Mr. Wolf was kind of scary when he just woke up... another thing he had in common with Mr. Logan besides the enhanced sense of smell. So Megan carefully got close enough to give him a hug, "We'll find Miss Giselle, we'll find everyone." She was being kind and gentle in her words, "It's what I'm good at."

Megan looked up at Xemnas, "They might have us but they can't keep us. I can tell, my powers still work... even if I'm not feeling well." Her voice was calm and collected, even though various parts of her mind were screaming to be scared. She didn't have time for that. She had people to save, friends to find.

"I want my knife back. And I can get to it." Megan did not sound like this was a request. This was her plan. And they could argue but she wasn't budging on this.

Raiel stepped back from Wolf when Pixie moved in for the hug.

He knew she could teleport, so he figured that was what she meant about being able to get her knife back. He gave her a nod. "Do it. Be careful, come back when you have it."

To Xemnas, Wolf's reaction - while not what he might have expected - was something he could find familiar. It put him in mind of Saïx during his rages. But he would leave the calming to the others. He knew little of the man and little of the woman he called for.

"I agree," he answered. "The more weapons we have with us the better we can fend for ourselves."

"Hrrr...rrrr...I need to find her..." he continued to gasp between growls, but was slowly calming down. Having a cute girl hug him helped with the nerves, at least a bit.

Oh right, the elf could teleport. She'd done it into the Strand when he'd first met her. And if she could still do that here...

"Weapons...escape, yes..." he growled, his voice more than a little unsettling. "Rrrrr, you must come back here..." As if this whole situation wasn't horrible enough, he didn't at all like the smell of the guy with the silver hair.

Wolf was not a fighter by any means, but he could be vicious when angered. Point him at the human between him and Giselle and he would gladly rip their throat out.

"I'll take Mr. Wolf with me, we'll be back soon," Megan smiled. She was confident. It helped she was teleporting away from Xemnas, but even without that detail, she was sure this would work out. She had to be sure, "You two... come up with some plan... like a way out of the cell."

She put her hand on Mr. Wolf's shoulder. She wanted to keep him calm. She wasn't all that strong on her own, she didn't have her armor or her weapon... yet. So she would need his strength a lot, a whole lot. And if he was all growly and angry, it wouldn't work out so well, "Sihal Novarum Chinoth."

The two of them vanished with a puff of pink and black smoke.

With Wolf and Pixie gone, it was just him and the other guy. Raiel turned to him, looked him over, and then introduced himself. "My name's Raiel. I'm a Magic Musician, but," shrug, "that's useless without my instrument, obviously. What can you do?"

What could he do? Nothing terribly interesting. But while his abilities were not interesting they were that their would-be captors could not take from him. The advantages of having weapons that were essentially part of him.

"Xemnas," he answered with a nod that was at least intended to be polite. "As for what I have..." there was a pause as he summoned one of his blades into existence, being careful to point it down and away from Raiel "perhaps these would be of some use?"

...Oh, that was useful. Summoned weapons that hadn't been taken away. That gave them an advantage their captors wouldn't expect them to have.

He folded one arm over his chest and the other hand went thoughtfully to his chin as he started talking, trying to straighten out some ideas. "Okay, the first thing we need to do is get out of here. There are probably guards though, right? I don't think they'd just throw a bunch of us in cells without putting guards around, they know the sort of stuff we can do. Which means the guards are probably pretty dangerous, too.

"I think - " He cut off, paused, and then walked over to the door, setting an ear against it and banging a couple times to see if he could figure out how thick it was. The noise was pretty dull, it was a thick door. He straightened, turning back to Xemnas. "I might be able to kick down the door, but I'm not really a fighter so the guards are a problem."

And then another sudden stop as he blinked, realizing something. "...Can those things cut through steel?"

"I should be able to manage a couple of guards," Xemnas answered. After all, his blades were not the only weapons in his arsenal. True, they were the only ones that could kill at this level of power, but even wounding the guards that would inevitably be waiting on the other side of the door would be of some use.

"They should be able to."

After all, there were a few advantages to them being made of the same stuff as his element.

He was probably way off whatever Xemnas thought he might be thinking. The door was no problem because he could probably kick it down, see, so that wasn't why he'd asked if they could cut through steel.

It was because there were probably other cells next to them and who could say if the people in those were capable of breaking down their own cell doors? The job of a hero is to save everyone they can, after all.

"Do you think you could see what's on the other side of the walls, then?"
