They arrived back at Bryant Park Hotel without incident. There hadn’t been anymore crabs. Derek couldn’t be more relieved for that. If they had run into another one he’d--
He didn’t want to see any more people hurt or worried or anything.
The first thing Morris and J did upon entering the lobby was threaten Derek that if he didn’t go to his room, sit, and stay sitting, they were going to tie him down. Don’t worry about anyone else right now. One glance their way told him that they meant it. Derek thanked everyone headed straight to his room.
It still took him a few minutes to sit down on his bed, towel pressed against his left arm. He was positive he wouldn’t calm down completely-okay he was a little tense-until he had been healed.
