Evangeline sat in her chair, this sucked! Not the good kind of sucked that involved a warm inviting body and some amount of fun. Food or otherwise. No, this was the 'why does the universe spit on me' sucked. First she spends over a decade powerless in a SCHOOL of all places. Then she gets dragged to this hell, where she's so weak she can't even destroy a couple of monstsers the size of buildings.
Not just that! She's been injured in a way her own abilities do not heal. She has to contact someone to heal her. She should be beyond such things. Better than this, better than human. Better than everyone on this island. How truly unsettling.
So here she sat, her arm wrapped in black cloth to hide her bite. She did provide some snacks and tea, given the time of day. Hopefully her healer will appreciate it. As she was not thanking the girl! It was humiliating enough how this would go, needing healing like some child.
