Everyone has heard of getting up on the wrong side of the bed, Teddy wished that he would have killed for that feeling. Something about getting up on the wrong side of the gutter, it just didn’t sit right with the teen. Maybe it was the fact that it was the gutter, or maybe it was the idea of being covered in the nastiest water this side of the Hudson River.
Pulling himself to his feet, Teddy realized one thing; he wanted a shower and he wanted it now. Of course, that was followed by realization number two; he had no idea where he was. “Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore.” The alien glanced down at his feet noticing that Toto was apparently a rather grotesque looking rat. It was hardly Toto material.
Now that he knew he had no clue where he was, there was but one more realization or was it a question? How the hell did he get to wherever here was? There were a few options: He was kidnapped, he was completely delirious, or a teleportation spell went completely haywire. Well, there was only one way to answer the question, and that was to look around.
And look, another realization...he couldn’t change. “Well, that’s just great. I’m stuck in the middle of I don’t know where… I’m covered in crap water and my powers are on the fritz. Could this day get any worse?” Just in case, Teddy glanced up to the sky. It seemed that whenever someone uttered those words it would always start to rain…
