Content: Arrival in "New" Manhattan
Location: Rubble Located by the World Financial Center in South Manhattan (by where the World Trade Center was)
Time of day: Mid Afternoon
Warnings: Frustrated and Sarcastic
Xanatos could still feel the warmth from his wife Fox as he held her close to him. Could still hear the stirring of young Alexander from the baby monitor, and yet something was not right. He began to stir, starting to feel a little bit of a draft he instinctively tried to pull the covers up to guard against the cool spring air. It was the lack of these blankets that caught his interest.
Opening his eyes he was alarmed to see that things were not what he expected. Instead of the luxuries of his bed chambers, he instead found himself in a pile of rubble, which was starting to take its toll in the form of cramps all over his body. More shocking to him was that he was in fact wearing his business suit, something he usually did not wear when going to bed for obvious reason. With a grin on his face, he stood up and dusted himself off.
"What a fine mess this is" he thought to himself for a moment, "I wonder who's doing this is. Demona back in town? MacBeth haboring a grudge? Servarius in another fit of betrayal?" He suddenly shuttered, "Or Oberon after my child again."
He looked about and saw the destruction all about, the pinnacle of which was the violation done to the Statue of Liberty. It was obvious that something terrible had happened here, and more disturbing was that as he looked about he was unable to locate his castle which should have been located in the buisness district. It should stand out to him since it was the largest building on earth, but instead all he could see was his city in ruins.
"For now, I seem to be on my own." He thought to himself, "I'd better head to base and see if I can pick up some information as well as some equipment." With that he headed off towards the center of the business center.
