Characters: Euphemia li Britannia, NPCs
Content: Euphie's next of being attacked
Location: In front of Lord and Taylor's
Time of day: Late Afternoon
Warnings: Oh god violence. And a crab bite.

Euphie had been on her way carefully down the streets to one of the larger clothing stores in the area. With all this times that she had been here, the warmer thick winter outfits were slowly becoming too heavy to be worn in the warmer weather.

She almost didn't hear the unfamiliar scuttling of the crabs until it was nearly too late, only noticing moments before it tried to attack her and she tossed herself sideways the crab just missing by centimeters. It was larger than the others she noted as she inched backwards, the new bigger ones she heard being mentioned over the networks. There was no time to waste and she scrambled up, nearly tripping over the moderately long skirt before dashing as fast as she could in her ballet flats.

However even without heels her speed was no match for the crab's and she stumbled as it leaped at her back, crying out as it bit her shoulder. Somehow with a burst of adrenaline she broke free, desperately crawling away until a rush of air and a pain coursed through her already injured shoulder. She fell sideways, her head hitting the floor ungracefully and she laid there, stunned momentarily.

"Hey! The outsider got bit!"

The shorter one near her had been the one to call out to the other two - A larger set woman and a thickly built athletic man who were both seemingly beating what remained of her attacker crab. Euphie tried to focus on them despite her swimming head, getting nothing more than a soft croak of 'thank you' out.

The shorter one turned to her, before saying something to low for her to catch at the others. The more athletic man came closer into her vision, lifting her by her injured arm causing her to cry out in pain.

"Defiantly a outsider." he said, his face twisting into a grimace. "Look at her unnatural eyes."

His grip tightened painfully the more she pleaded for him to let go until a loud crack could be heard in the unnaturally silent streets besides her quiet sobbing.

She was dropped unceremoniously onto the sidewalk, and did nothing while trying to breath through the agony racing up and down her arm. Why had they done such a thing? Whatever had she done wrong?

"Don't. Let the crabs get her." Eyes shot towards the other two, staring into the woman's unforgiving eyes. The man over her tch'd and kicked her side, making sure to dig the tip of his boot into her rib. "That's from CARP." he sneered before walking towards the group. He stopped halfway, turning back to her with a cruel smile.

"If they don't, hopefully she'll finish herself off."

She said nothing as she watched them go, unable to stop the tears from flowing. Never more than before she wanted Cornelia here with her, in this large lonely and cold place. Curling as much as she could, she didn't bother keeping the tears in check as she cried at the unfairness of it all.
