Characters: Luis, Maria, Leon later on.
Content: Maria has a job to do. (No, not like that...for the most part.)
Location: Undisclosed, moving across city to Leon’s place.
Time of Day: Ungodly hour of the night
Warnings: Cheesy dialogue, bitches and whores, some very dirty implications.

Wandering into the alley she’d been told to meet at, Waiting was a ritual that Maria knew well and was becoming more used to as time went on. Maybe it was another one of those features that was grained into her whether she liked it or not, but now it served to keep her alert until Luis arrived- or if any other creatures, human or otherwise, tried to make an unexpected visit.

She could tell he was in trouble, and helping him was probably going to get her into some of her own if she couldn’t run fast enough or lie well enough. Even with that in mind, she knew whatever help she could give would be something that he could use. She had a feeling, like with most of the things she was fighting for, she would be doing a lot of running and ducking.
