Jack had just completed his mission. He'd found Dr. Lee and Daniel, both of whom, despite being kidnapped and tortured for a couple days, seemed to be in pretty good health... aside from Daniel's gunshot wound. But anyway one less thing he will have to worry about. Another day saved and everyone lived to fight another day. Just one thing left to do, he had turned to speak with Burke...
...but as he turned his head the world changed. Suddenly he stood at a crumpled street corner in what could best be described as a wasteland. His first instinct was to reach for his P90, which he sadly did not find. A frantic self check later, he finds he's missing all his weapons... at least of the shooty-shooty and explodey-slody kind.
He blinked a couple times then sighed, "I hate it when this happens."
