Content: After discussing Flute's situation with Garnet, it's now Raiel's turn to talk to Hamel. They haven't been on speaking terms for about a week, though, so it's bound to have a rocky start.

Even with the light taps from his new door, Hamel paid little attention to it. Not like Hamel actually bothered locking his door anymore. People seemed to just as well ignore his privacy and come barging in anyway. Maybe if he just played another piece, the person would go away. Then again, it could be something important and while Hamel was certainly in a low point, he didn't want to trouble others in the process.
The knock on the door finally getting to him, he set his instrument on the chair before making his way to the door. Swinging it open, it took him a moment to register who it was. Great. The last person he wanted to see ( ... )

But despite the look, the smile that Raiel wore didn't falter, and he soldiered on. "I'm sorry, Hamel," he said (stepping into the room while Hamel's back was turned so that he wouldn't be able to close the door on him). There wasn't much else he needed to add to that; they both knew what he was apologizing for.

He continued with what he was doing, safely securing the dark violin in its soft case, closing it with soft clicks of the locks. His back was still facing Raiel and Hamel made damn sure not to give his 'guest' the benefit of seeing his face.
"Which part? The part where you forced Flute-" Just her name was hard for his lips to pronounce right now. "-to heal me, the part where you don't give a damn whether she lives or the part where I can't make choices in my own life?"

"For betraying your trust," he said, pushing himself away from the wall and stepping forward. "You can hit me again if it'll help--" a switch from serious to a lighter tone, "just, haha, not in the stomach this time, please--but," and his tone dropped back to serious, "if it'll make you feel better, then do it. I know I deserve it, for doing something like that to you."
