Thomas had been looking for one winged creature and he had found another. He was a good way down the street when he saw the flash of gold in the sky. Thomas looked up and saw the young---male falling gently to earth, clearly aided by the golden wings on his back.

The incubus had seen a lot of things in his time here and the being falling to the ground just now STILL made his jaw drop a little. "Empty night, you have got to be shitting me," he cursed. There was no way in HELL that was a falling angel.

Ignoring his wonderful word choice, Thomas did what any sensible person would do when they saw an angel fall from the sky and then face plant on the street: he ran over. 'Please just be a large fairy or a mutant from a comic book or anything other than something that would probably smite me' he thought to himself as he approached.

Cautiously, he reached down and put a hand on his shoulder, glad to see teh wings were gone a least, "You okay, kid?"

Emilio started, feeling someone's hand on his shoulder. His first thought was that somehow Wong had been there all along and was going to do something else god-awful to him, like he hadn't done enough already. But no, the voice was different. He didn't recognize the man at all. That meant he was a stranger. A stranger to go with a strange place.

Wait...oh god, did he see him falling? And his wings? How could he not, they were only bright and shining and made of light ohgodohgodohgodohgod. If the man knew what he was, there was no telling what he might do to him. The more reasonable part of his mind pointed out that if the man was of a mind to harm him, he likely would have done or be in the process of doing so already.

It still confused him though, considering he was used to being seen as less than human.

He looked up at the man, trying to sound calm, but his voice still quavered. Granted, he had also just fallen from a considerable altitude. That'd scare the shit out of a lot of people. "Y-yes...I think so..."

Thomas noticed a lot of emotions pass over the guy. He didn't look like he was going to be smiting him any time soon though, so Thomas relaxed a little bit. Still, it was clear that he was more than a little freaked out. Not that Thomas could blame him, after all, he had just fallen out of the sky into a pretty bad city.

"That's a relief, most people would be a little more freaked out after sky diving like that," Thomas said.

He definitely saw him fall. Emilio wasn't good at lying anyway, but even if he had a mind to do so, he couldn't very well hide what had just happened. The fact that a lynch mob hadn't descended upon him was still confusing, but given the state of this place now that he looked at it...it seemed pretty unlikely. Was the man one of those people who sympathized with Psychiccers? Maybe. Honestly though, Emilio didn't think such people existed.

"I'm used to it." he admitted. "What's confusing me is that I was just inside and now--"

Emilio remembered what he was doing prior to his descent into the city. His demeanor became much more urgent, and he shakily tried to get to his feet.

"You should go. If the man I was fighting is here too, this could get very dangerous."
