Characters: Excella Gionne, OPEN Content: Excella's arrival. Location: Streets of Manhattan to a random residence Time of day: Evening Warnings: Probably language.. and Excella's boobs.
Since Tifa disappeared, in between his patrols and whatever other disaster of the moment he was busy dealing with, Billy dutifully tried to man the bar in the evenings. He still wasn't any kind of expert at mixed drinks, but a cocktail recipe book someone picked up was serving as his Bible for the time being.
"Hey," he said, only raising a slight eyebrow at the extremely well-dressed woman who wandered inside. He could probably safely assume her to be new around here. Nobody bothered looking that good when running from crabs might be in the near future.
It had been a bar that she ran into blindly. An empty bar with only the tender. She took a few steps closer to the bar, eying the man warily. His t-shirt and tattoo did absolutely nothing for him, she mused, except for make him look like an ex-convict.
Deciding to ignore this for now, Excella finally reached the bar and took a seat. How was one to really go about all of this anyways? It wasn't normal for people to suddenly appear somewhere... The man would probably think she was insane if she even mentioned it... And her reputation had to keep if she was going to be stuck in some strange version of Manhattan. She slowly crossed one leg over the other and tilted her head.
"I almost had a run in with some of the nastier creatures out there..." she mused with a smirk. "Is it always this empty in here?"
It was one of the few places whose lights were lit, that she could see. She expected it to be much busier than this.
"Not always. Just happens to be a dead night," Billy said with a shrug. Now he knew she was definitely new around here and probably just as confused as she looked.
He reached for a beer that he'd poured for himself and had a sip. "Don't go outside without something to defend yourself and don't get bitten."
He was offering her advice... She must have looked like she needed it. The scientist nodded her head slowly as he explained it was just a slow night, but returned her gaze to him when he went on.
So the creature's bites were something to be feared? Perhaps they produced a reaction similar to Las Plagas or the T-Virus. It was something she'd have to figure out later... "Thank you for the concern... I'll make sure to keep that in mind."
She watched him sip his beer and turned her gaze to glance back around. "The creatures... They are something I'm unfamiliar with... What has happened here?"
