Despite the early start, Sora still managed to be there on time...mostly because he hadn't been sleeping too much lately. He wandered over to the snack table and picked up one of the bagels, leaving the coffee. (He still wasn't terribly fond of the stuff). He started munching on the bagel, scanning the precinct for anyone he recognized, or anyone willing to chat before they started in on the meeting.

He'd always preferred to arrive at meetings a few minutes early. So far there were only a few people he recognized; Spin, Daniel, and Aya were already talking, so he moved over to where the young boy was. The bozak hadn't gotten to talk to him since Roosevelt Island.
"...Sora, right? You did a good job on the boat, from what little I can remember."

"Uhh, thanks!" Sora replied, scratching at the back of his neck with his free hand. "But you were the guys that did all the work! We'd probably still be stuck there if it wasn't for all of you." It looked like he'd worked way hard, as Kang had practically passed out in the boat on the way back.

"No problem! Yeah, it looked like it kinda...knocked you out," Sora said, hoping he wasn't being too offensive. "Is it hard to swim?" Maybe with those wings swimming was difficult for him...plus one of them had been injured at the time.

"Yeah, we had to have at least one of those on boats all the time," Sora said with a nostalgic smile. He'd definitely grown up knowing how to use those.

Sora looked down at his wrists...at most they were a little pink, but for the most part as good as healed. He held up one hand as if to demonstrate, although it was hard to see it precisely around the gloves he typically wore. "Yup, they're fine now!"

"Good to see. I'm curious, though, how those marks were made in the first place," he mused.

"But we'll find out!"

"Maybe we'll get some clues as to how to stop it from happening again here."
