Emerald green eyes fluttered open, blinking as their owner took in what was going on around her. Nothing... this place looked nothing like what she knew, the place she'd been in for the last few months. The brunette let out a loud cough before she attempted to unfold her limbs. They each felt like they weighed a ton and it took a great effort for her to sit up; when she did, she nearly went right back down. She was quite dizzy.
Waiting for the dizziness to subside a bit, she sat there, wondering where the heck she was and what had happened. She could hear voices, though she wasn't sure who they belonged to. Finally able to stand up again, she moved for the door and headed outside the room.
"Hello?" she called out, hoping that someone would be able to hear her. "Is anyone here?"

Sora unconsciously rubbed at them as he stepped out of the hospital room he'd woken up in. He heard familiar voices nearby...Mia, Harry, Flute, Aya...
"Aerith!"
Sora rushed forward when he heard his friend call out, ignoring the fact that he felt like he was about to fall flat on his face again. How many of us went missing? With all the confusion and worry of waking up somewhere unfamiliar again, he also felt a pang of guilt that he somehow didn't prevent this. They'd been studying that note found in the tunnels, mentioning all the people who could heal! He should've been able to warn her! He should've done something...

"Sora!" she cried, moving closer to her friend. "Are you feeling okay?"
It was an automatic reaction, asking how someone was, and she mostly asked just to be sure he wasn't suffering any other effects that she didn't know of. Things were just not so good here, but she was glad to at least see one familiar face.

Even though this obviously wasn't his fault, Sora still couldn't help feeling responsible for failing to take care of his friends. "Aerith, I...I'm sorry..."

Aerith knew the boy must have been feeling some sort of responsibility and she also knew that neither of them could have prevented something like this. None of them had the capability to deal with whatever power these captors had over them. As much as they wanted to protect their friends, there wasn't anything anyone could have done. Accepting that fact was hard, and another story entirely. Aerith herself wasn't sure if she could do that.
"I guess none of us are feeling our best," she admitted softly, glancing at Sora as she noticed how bad he looked. "It's not your fault, Sora. You couldn't have stopped this any more than I could have. I'm just... sorry you had to go through it twice."
She'd known about his other disappearance, but she hadn't really known what had happened to him then. Now, she was getting her own taste of the insanity of the place and she was beginning to realize how much strength of heart and character they all would need to get through this.

"I should've been able to do something! We were thinking earlier, that they might..." he trailed off, not certain what to say. That the people here were after the ones that could heal crab bites? Why?
She had that worried mother look on her, even under the exhaustion and pain, and Sora suddenly felt a little more sheepish. "It's fine. About the twice thing, I mean...I'll be okay eventually."

They had to band together now, had to get through this as one body, not multiples. And after everything was said and done, a way to protect themselves would have to be put into motion. Mia had been trying to hide their identities from the network earlier, but it was difficult to keep that a secret for long, or at least off the network completely when that was their most reliable means of communication.
Aerith sighed and glanced away. Everything was so different now. It was one thing to be kidnapped and taken away underground and an entirely different thing to be transported to... wherever this was.
"Even knowing they were watching us... there was no way to prevent them from coming in and taking whoever they wanted," she murmured, voice soft, yet determined. "But that doesn't mean we should sit around and feel guilty for what happened. We're here now. We're all alive still. And if we're alive, then we have the strength to fight back." She lifted her head again and met Sora's eyes, attempting a smile.
"We can't give up now. There's still a lot to do. We have to get back home and then we have to help protect ourselves and each other." No more mentioning Healers over the network. "There's no stopping now. They played their cards, probably not all of them, but now we have to play a few of ours. We... and the rest of the people here, are stronger than they think."

Even though the smile was only an attempted one, it still helped lift Sora's spirits some. Seeing other people try to be brave just pushed him to try more himself. "Right!" he agreed, clenching his fists and then wincing at the motion. "As long as we've still got each other, we can do something." What that was, Sora didn't know yet, but they had to find out.
"We just gotta show 'em how strong we are!" Of course, thinking about the strength of his friends, he realized that he had to check up on them. A lot could've happened in a few days!

Aerith would also choose to lay her life on the line to save the people who got bitten, but if other people were getting drug along with them, they would all need to be careful.
"Have you tried contacting anyone yet?" she asked as a wave of dizziness washed over her again. She really would need to at least sit down again soon. "I just woke up. You're the first person I've run across."

He scratched his head at the next question, feeling dizzy as well but trying to fight it off. Now was not the time to pass out again. "No, but I dunno if there's any computers here or not." This was a hospital, so there probably were computers, at least.
"I thought I heard Mia and maybe Harry somewhere down here..." Sora said, glancing back towards the hall. Of course, that raised some new questions. Those two weren't Healers, but they knew about them. Why did these guys kidnap them, too?

She glanced in the direction she'd heard the voices and nodded. "Yeah... I guess if possible, we should get everyone in a room together and talk... I don't know what's going on, but we all need to at least be on the same page here."
The brunette healer sighed wearily. She was so confused now and she was sure Sora wouldn't have any more ideas than she did. It was frustrating, this not knowing, but they would all have to wait a little longer to find out.
"If Harry's here... I want to talk to him."
