Content: After being rescued from the worst three days he's had in Manhatten, Daniel convinces the search party to drop him off at Kida's place as he is reeeally tired of being outside and it's close by. He soon finds out that Kida knows more about healing than just how to use bandages.

It took a little time to get the others to leave. Kida had to assure them that she could find some remedies for him, though she could not understand their talk of a Healer. Yes, the bite wounds were bad, but Daniel would survive this easily with any medic's help, would he not? It finally came down to the idea of letting Daniel get his rest that got them to leave, along with the promise that she would try to find a Healer. Closing the door, she sighed. She knew that the surface world had doctors, but why this group was calling them Healers struck Kida as odd.

Either way, there was little point in a doctor. Badly hurt as Daniel was, even if infection did not set into the wounds his body was weakened, making him vulnerable to other illnesses. A surface doctor's treatments took too long to heal, considering life outside these walls.

Daniel seemed nice enough. He reminded her of Milo at times. But she learned almost 100 years ago that it was difficult to discern someone's true nature. Kida debated if this decision was in either her city's or her own best interest, but she could not let someone suffer like this or potentially succumb to worse. The queen bit her lip in thought, somewhat frustrated that yet someone else was about to learn she could do this.

Regardless of whether it was necessary, Kida decided to get a large bowl of hot water a sheet and some cloths to clean Daniel's wounds. "Here," she said, gently moving him a little and placing a sheet underneath his worst wound. It was in the name of both of keeping his surroundings clean and keeping her couch from getting bloody. This also let her examine the bite better. It was significantly less impressive than HUNK's wound, but he had let that become infected. This was manageable. "Either you must remove your coat and shirt or I must do it." Considering he was lying down, he doing so would prove difficult. She removed her crystal and placed it on the floor next to the bowl.
