The new clothes that Miwako had provided him with were much more comfortable than what he'd originally had, not to mention warmer, and much less ridiculous. Diego had said that he'd be in Madison Square Garden, and that's where Kang headed with purposeful strides, approaching the table when he got there, "Are you Diego?"
Kang had gone into commander!mode.

"And you must be Mr. Kang," he said with a grin, rising to his feet and offering a hand to shake. "A pleasure to meet you in the flesh and scales, my friend. Pull up a chair. Coffee?"

Kang took Diego's hand in his and shook, then sat down in one of the chairs, "The Mr. isn't necessary, and no thank you." He paused, then leaned back slightly, "I'm afraid I'm rather new to Manhattan, and I don't have much information on events that have happened here before."

The visor did not count, it was a medical apparatus.
"That depends what sort of information you're looking for," he said with a grin.

She found herself at Madison Square Garden, seeing a group of...odd...characters. First, someone who looked like a lizard that was fed miracle grow...that was something she didn't see everyday, but of course, Manhattan was ever changing. But what really caught her eye was a guy wearing a toaster on his face talking to a guy with a mask on.
She sighed and hung her head. People were so strange here anymore, including lizard-on-miracle-grow. Walking over, she decided to see if she could find out any information too.
"Excuse me, but do you know what the current plans are for finding everyone?"

From the very start, Odd had promised himself to look after her. Even if he hadn’t told her this, even if she didn’t entirely agree to it, Odd took it upon himself to look after her. He had been the one to help her off the streets when she first showed up. He had been there for her when she needed a confident. He was there when she had done harm to herself.
And now, in a time where it seemed like she needed him and her friends the most, they were powerless to do anything to help her. Instead, they were gathering in nice little organized meetings, talking it out. Still, within that court, he quietly took a seat and waited. From the looks of how few ( ... )

As she slid out of the shadows one last time, her white heels began clicking against the floor. She managed to smooth out her black mini dress as she made her way to the meeting area. In one hand she was thumbing through her PDA, her other hand was clutching a notebook and pencil case.
Any information given in this meeting, any clues found... They'd all be useful in the end. The shock white hair and odd facial gear of their organizer wasn't hard to miss. She saw him when she was still yards away from the group. She slowed her pace to a more leisurely speed and stopped just feet away from the others. "You didn't have too much fun without me, I expect?"

Still, this was turning out to be the worst week of her life. First, giving up on finding Athrun, then getting bitten, and now this. Meyrin was downright miserable at this point, and if anyone were to bug her now, she couldn't even pretend to be all right.
At least not everyone was in a panic over this. Her time as a soldier had taught Meyrin to keep a level head during stressful times--and the fact she didn't really know any of the missing persons helped.
In any case, her time as a soldier had also made her unwilling to sit around while this kind of thing was going on. Besides, she needed the distraction.
And so, she hung around the area, waiting to see if anything would happen.

Detective skills, however, were outside of his field of expertise. A certain wizard had more skill in that area. And the fact that this Manhattan had taken a strange beating from an even stranger monster (and oh, wouldn't he love to hear the conspiracy theories behind that one) hadn't helped at all.
He glanced over at the pink-haired girl who was favoring one side as she entered into Madison Square Garden. For the most part, he had only quietly walked around, carefully listening in on different parts of people's conversations. However...
"You should get that checked out," he drawled, raising his eyebrow by the tiniest fraction.

"Ah... I will," she replied. "Eventually. But now's not really the time for it."
It wasn't as if she could go around, asking for treatment when everyone was worried about the missing people. In Meyrin's eyes, her injury wasn't a top priority. While it was poisonous, yes, she knew the poison wasn't instantly fatal. She still had time.

Instead, he only shrugged. "Suit yourself," he replied breezily, and just like that, he switched the conversation to something else at hand, "You know anybody who's gone missing?"
