Ninjas of Shadow (Active/Closed)
Characters: Nara Shikamaru and Uzumaki Naruto
Content: Shikamaru is getting his friend caught up, trying to keep the idiot from rushing the monsters.
Location: Random Rooftop of random apartment building.
Time of day: Mid-afternoon.
Warnings: Ninjas! Probably yelling, sighing, idiocy... nothing too out there for this city.
Shikamaru had no problem leaving Naruto a small care package (4 packaged cups of instant ramen) and a note to meet him on the roof in the apartment. Finding Naruto's home wasn't a problem either, but that's because he asked. It was a little cold up here, but winter was ending. Home never got this cold. It was rather sunny and nice, from how this world describes ninja the total opposite of what they would expect.
Shikamaru closed his eyes as he waited, his mind drawing a pretty accurate portrayal of the village in his mind. He waited for Naruto to join him up here. It was common for ninjas to be away from the village for weeks at a time. However never alone and never without some plan or timeline. So this was still new, and a bit disconcerting. However he had two allies now, the makings of a squad.
And if push comes to shove he might try to put the use of the two S-Ranked criminals into employ. But this was not a plan he wanted to put too much thought into. So many variables, so many ways it could go wrong. The very act of bringing this plan up could lead to a scuffle he'd need to put a lot of preparation into. And this without any tags, kunai, shuriken, wires, scrolls, flashbombs... So troublesome.
