Electricity Wasn't The Only Thing To Go [Open/Active]

The electricity wasn't the only thing to go out as Thomas could attest when, in the middle of his shower, the water suddenly shut off. It was dark around him but that wasn't what he was concerned with, what he was concerned with was the fact that the water had stopped coming out of the shower head. "Dammit," he cursed, pulling back the shower curtain and peering out into the darkness as if that would explain the strange occurrence.
It didn't, so Thomas wrapped a towel around his waist and went to grab a pair of pants as he stormed into his living room. He put on he pants, he figured even in the dark walking around in a towel in the main part of the building would be looked down on by the more prudish members of the house. He looked around, surely more people would be out with the power out, "Hey! Did someone forget to pay the bill," he called jokingly. He stopped in his tracks, however, when he heard the loud roar of a familiar monster. "Well, shit."
