If there was one thing Meyrin was feeling at the moment, it was awkward. She was fairly certain this was the Bryant Park Hotel that the stranger had told her about through the digest, so she didn't have to worry that she was lost, but that didn't change the fact she was still a shy person at heart. Even though she wanted to make friends, she was nervous. It had been so much easier when she didn't have to talk to people in person.
Still, she was here, and she wasn't about to back down now. Putting up a brave face, she stepped into the main lobby of the hotel, and...
... realized she had absolutely no idea what to do now. It wasn't as if she could just claim a room without knowing if anyone lived it in or not (and she definitely wasn't going to knock and ask lest she died from embarrassment). Maybe if she searched around, she could find a room that was obviously vacant. She was hesitant to carry out that plan though, and thus proceeded to stand there in the lobby, her cluelessness written all over her face.
