Time of day: Noon-ish. In other words, Riku just got up.

The Loft was too cold and Riku was tired of his room. He didn't feel like going out in the snow, even though he needed to get a new jacket since his was shredded on one side thanks to that crab. The teen could stand to get something new to wear, though he still wanted to ask Giselle if his vest was even fixable. Instead, Riku had opted to head down to the Cellar to read.
Anything to take his mind off Rosette.
A few days ago, he'd found a book called Journey to the Stars. It was the first time he'd gotten to take a look at it, and he looked less-than-amused. "Have these people ever been in Interspace before?" he grumbled. There was no mention of other worlds beyond "Is there alien life?" It was obvious these people thought anything other than their world was likely to be a wasteland.
Riku continued to look through it, muttering all the while as he sat at the bar.
