The aches and pains weren't anything particularly new to Kate Bishop. She was, after all, a crime fighter. She regularly felt so bruised up that it was a wonder there was any skin left that wasn't a shade of purple on par with her uniform. Not even the splitting headache particularly surprised her. She'd been knocked pretty hard what felt like just a few moments before, but she imagined it was probably longer than that.

No, what was new was waking up with her back to cold, wet pavement, without the concerned voices of her teammates around her, or the sounds of a continuing battle. Wincing at the cloud-covered sky as she opened her eyes, still bright even with her shade-covered eyes, she slowly sat up, glancing around the immediate area. It did seem awfully quiet for this time of day in the middle of-

"...What the hell." The sight before her, while still obviously New York, it was completely off. The streets were rarely empty, even when they were made into the battle zone for New York's finest and the scum that went along with it. There was also a very obvious amount of disrepair going on. Buildings crumbling, decorative trees snapped in half. Something happened, something big. Somehow she didn't think she could have slept through it all, but she still hoped, pulling herself to her feet and looking around.

Rubbing a sore shoulder she felt a distinct lightness on her back. She glanced behind her, finding that her quiver was still attached, but there were no arrows. Eyes widening her hand moved to her side, feeling for her sword, finding that gone too, and then clicking frantically through her secret compartments, tracers, trackers, battle staves everything gone.

"Oh hell," she muttered under her breath, looking up and around the area again. She needed to get back to the clubhouse and figure out what the hell happened and where everyone else was, but first, she checked one last thing-

"Damn it they took my cellphone too!?"
