Miwako never missed an opportunity to dress up. The lolita had braided her hair in two long braids and made the not-even-2-minute trek from her apartment to Giselle's. She wore a brand new jumper dress decorated with pictures of baked goods all over it over a long sleeved blouse and fluffy petticoat.

Instead of her usual Mary-Jane's or rocking horse shoes, however, she opted for fluffy pink bunny slippers. With a frilly apron in hand, she stopped at Giselle's door and knocked politely. "Giselle! It's Miwako!"

Giselle made her way over to the door and opened it with a bright smile and immediately embraced the girl. She knew she'd seen Miwako a lot over the past few days since her rescue but every time she did see her Giselle couldn't help but hug her to make up for lost time.

"I'm so glad we get to bake cookies together," she chimed as she pulled away. Her smiled broadened at Miwako's outfit, "Oh you even dressed for it! That's wonderful!" Giselle was wearing a simple white apron herself, over a floral print dress she had made. It was a little out of season in winter but it certainly helped to brighten up the place (not that it wasn't bright enough, Giselle had decorated her apartment over the months of living there after all). "Have you ever made fortune cookies before, Miwako?"

Miwako clung to Giselle as the woman hugged her. She didn't mind all the hugs. After all, she'd been alone for so long...

She smiled warmly up at the woman and nodded her head. "Miwako made this just for the occasion!" She carefully tied her apron around her waist as she followed Giselle into the apartment, smiling at the bright decorations. Yes, it was definitely Giselle's apartment.

Fluffing out her petticoat, Miwako glanced back up at Giselle and shook her head. "Mm-mm, Miwako's never made fortune cookies before... But she definitely wants to try!"

"Good! We'll both learn together, although I think the recipe looks really simple so it shouldn't be hard at all," after shutting the door and walking towards the kitchen Giselle gestured to the ingredients and materials laid out on the table. "Now, Harry gave me explicit instructions on what message we're supposed to put in these," Giselle explained, she hadn't told Miwako until now about this because Harry had made it sound very important that it not get out much until the actual delivery. So, she told Miwako what they had to start writing on the pieces of paper and how many they would need.

She then pulled out a chair, "I think we should start on these before we start baking...or at least do half of them. I'm so happy that Harry asked me to help him with this."

Now that wasn't something Miwako had expected. Though she shouldn't have been so surprised... Obviously fortune cookies needed fortunes in them. She nodded her head slowly as Giselle explained what needed to be written. "Ah... yes... We should start these first, Miwako agrees."

She took a seat next to Giselle and picked up a pen and some of the paper. Her handwriting was very bubbly, dotting all her 'i's with hearts and such. "Miwako feels so important.... helping out with something like this," she admitted quietly.

Giselle nodded in agreement, "I thought you might. I know you liked to help and Harry trusts you, too. That's why I asked you," Giselle replied. Her own writing was rather loopy and cursive, appearing to be rather elegant. Neither handwriting probably really fit the message but it wasn't as though Harry could be picky about that.

They had a lot of messages to write to people but with company it wouldn't take nearly as long, "Plus, it's fun to work with your friends, it makes everything so much easier."

Miwako gave Giselle a wide smile before looking back down at the paper and writing again. "There's so much Miwako missed out on when she was gone... She's glad she can do this."

Pulling another slip of paper over, she nodded her head. "Working with friends makes the time go by faster... It makes everything fun, Miwako agrees."

It was the knowledge that her friends would eventually come for her that kept her going that month that she'd been stuck.

"Yes, but I'm glad your safe and sound with us now," Giselle replied as she set a completed message aside and started a new one, "Oh! And we'll have to start working on outfits again soon...I'm trying to work on a wedding dress for Riza." Giselle paused for a moment and the gasped looking up at Miwako, "Oh my! That's right! You weren't here for when Harry proposed to Riza!" The maiden proceeded to tell the girl about the engagement.

She nodded, "I do enjoy working with friends and I really missed working with you Miwako."

Miwako continued working on her messages, giggling at one of the fortunes she was writing. She nodded her head slightly. "I'm glad I am too," she admitted. She glanced up, her eyes widening at the next piece of news. "Oh my gosh, really?!" She stopped writing the note to listen to the exciting news. She had to make sure and tell them how happy she was for them when things were better...

She smiled brightly back. "I missed working with you too, Giselle."

It took some time but eventually they finished filling out the messages as Harry had dictated they should. Giselle placed her pen on the table and stretched her arms over her head, it seemed like they'd been writing for quite awhile but they were finally done. "Well," Giselle said as she lowered her hands and rose from the table, "I think it's time we start the cookies, don't you Miwako?"
