(
Once upon a time, there lived a princess in Manhattan who wore a red hood each time she went out. )
He stopped his wild darting through the streets for a bit of a breather, feeling the moon on the sky even though it wasn't quite evening yet. It was then that he realized that he was by a library...well, if he went in and found some more self-help books, he could always make that excuse for being out on this day. Finding books. Yes. That would fly, wouldn't it?
Shaking stray snow and slush off his jacket and shoes, he stepped inside the library, growling to himself. Books. Yes. Next best thing to fields full of fluffy sheep, big feathered chickens in their coups, shepherdesses sitting in the fields with--
Wolf sniffed. There was someone else already in this library. The smell of someone young, and female.
"Helloooooooooo, who's there?"

Gazing back and forth across the shelves and lost in concentration, she barely heard the man's voice. She wasn't sure if someone else was there, but in the end, this was a library, it wasn't as if she was the only one allowed in.
Finding no reason to call back, she went back to her search, ignoring the voice.

He tromped up the stairs in search of the source of it, glancing back and forth every step of the way. He was supposed to be here for books, right? Those could wait until later. "Awwwwr, come on come on, don't be shy!"

She almost drew her chains out before realizing that there was no danger... yet. She was in another world and no one from Erion was here. She hadn't made enemies here, in fact, her acquaintances were rare even here. There was no need to be on guard, it was just someone who never heard of being quiet in a library.

Not many girls went around dressed almost entirely in red hoods, even during the cold winter. Very interesting indeed.
He leaned against the railing, staring back with a charming, ear-to-ear smile indicating that she had his full attention. "Ah hello! What're yoooou doing here all by your lonesome?"
Reply
"I am conducting research," she answered coldly taking a step back out of pure reflex, "And I do not wish to be disturbed. What do you want with me?" She didn't know why the man was suddenly interested in her, but if he was to try anything... well, she had gotten out of much worse situations.

Although as it were, his intentions weren't dishonorable just yet. He was still just completely curious. "Is that so? What're you researching?" He seemed to completely ignore the whole bit about not wanting to be disturbed. She smelled way too interesting to just trot off again.

This time, she stood her ground, still staring him down. "Now. What brings you here?"

This one had a lot of spunk. "Ohhhrrr, just in the mood to go out and about, as it were!" The charming smile came back to his face. "And I thought I smelled something interesting, awwwr!"

However, any meaningful thoughts were quickly gone. 'Smelled'? He truly did say 'smelled', right? Who in their right minds would say something like that? She took another step back, her expression still icy cold.

Wow, this one was practically an ice queen. Perhaps he was making her nervous? The problem with that was, it just made it all the more fun. He continued to pace around in a wide circle, although his expression became a little more wild with each turn.

But then again, perhaps this was a dead end after all. Indeed, a quick explanation or a glimpse in the future would be too good to be true. Pondering these developments, she nearly missed some of the man's reactions. She still held on to her book tightly, ready to hurl it at him if he was to try anything. It's not that she wanted to attack him right now, but his behavior was becoming stranger and stranger by the moment. Something was wrong.

He leaned in a little closer. "Hrmmmm, I'm sorry? Why what?"
Reply
"It does not matter," she finally answered. "The fact still remains that it could be a a plausible alternative."
((Err, sorry 'bout that))

Despite his rather frenzied state of being, Wolf could still easily pick up on a few of the smells from her...nervousness, uncertainty, and of course her expression was arrogant again. A little like how some of the shepherdesses back home acted, but then again, not exactly the same.
"Iiiiiis something bothering you?"
